I was looking out my kitchen window when I saw this butterfly on the window. I went outside and took this picture – it looked as if he were gazing at his own image in a mirror.
I began to psychoanalyze what goes through a person’s mind as they gaze in the mirror each early morning. I read a quote once about gazing in the mirror – “Be glad when you gaze into the mirror and only see the outer appearance.” Most of us never look deep within our inner selves as we gaze in the mirror. We might examine ourselves, tell ourselves we need to change our perspective on how our day will begin and end. Perhaps putting a smile on our face, and thinking how to live this day to the fullest, would change our outlook on life.
