Colors of the Sky

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”  Rabindranath Tagore

Reflections of the Sun

I was looking out my kitchen window to the East in the evening.  I could not believe the reflections of the sun as it set in the West.  Half of the trees and plants were their normal color, but the other half looked as if they were arrayed in Fall foliage.  The yellow color on this cane (which is green) is simply reflections of the sun, as are the orange trees on the right side of this photo.

The tops of the trees in this following photo were bathed in sunlight, the bottoms were their natural color.  All these photos are just as my camera captured them.

Thought I would add a couple of photos of the sunset – a close up and one far away.

Colors of the Sky

“Never forget we are as different as the colors of a sunrise and these differences make us who we are. . . Unique, Amazing, and Beautiful.  Be who God made you to be.”  Karen Kostyla

I watched the following Sunrise on Sunday morning. It changed and evolved into such a beautiful display, which lasted for over an hour.  These photos are exactly as my camera captured them.  What I saw was God’s Glory shining in the clouds.

II Corinthians 4:6  “For, God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
